INSTITUTIONAL TITLE RESEARCH
The intro opening of 'Guardians of the galaxy', is a good example of what I'm looking for my opening scene.
'Guardians of the galaxy' is a cross-genre of action, comedy, superhero, science fiction, adventure, and fantasy.
It is not a teen drama, however, I chose this intro opening for inspiration.
The title of the film is introduced in the second 00:26 of the opening.
First of all, there is a huge contrast between the title's color (yellow) and the setting. Yellow connotes happiness, warmth, sunshine, etc. which links with the main character's personality, this is illustrated when he starts dancing with the rhythm of the music. The font is called Galactic Vanguardian, it is positioned in the middle and fills most of the screen. On the other hand, the location looks devastated, the extreme long shot display to the audience where the action is happening and a better full view of the settings

Backlighting and low key lighting
For credits, white is used to introduce the position of work the staff is in and yellow introduces their names.
The exclusive producer's name is positioned in the middle of the screen.
The Casting director is the person or company who gathered the talent and auditions the actors for the roles.
Finally, credits for the film director appear as the last credit. This is really common in film productions.
WHY ARE CREDITS IMPORTANT AND HOW ARE THEY ORDERED?
Credits in films are played at the beginning and end of the films. Most of the films use opening credits to inform the audience the next evidences: the production company, the filmmaker, film title, lead cast, supporting cast, casting director, music composer, costume designer, associate producers, editors, production designer, director of photography, executive producer and producer, script writer and the director.​ In the other hand the end credits are similar but it lists everyone involved in the film production.

In this ending film sequence, there is a video explaining all the character's life after the plot of the film which gives the audience an insight and makes them feel more inside and invested with the universe of the film after watching all of it.
TITLE ANALYSIS
Mean girls is a teen drama where the protagonist Cady transfers for the first time to a public school where the teenagers are divided into 'cliques'. Cady starts to go along with the popular girls, also known as 'plastic girls'.
The title of the film is called 'mean girls' since the girls behave badly in school, and the title of the film is pink therefore it links to the target audience of teen girls and also to the narrative.
In the second image of the title 'mean girls', there is a kiss stamp suggesting that teenage girls like to use red/pink lipstick to show feminity.

My mad fat diary is a teen drama set in 90s, it tells the story of a girl called Rae who is struggling with her mental issues and body image.
This title cover or poster looks more complex that the one of 'Mean girls'. The cover got lots of graffiti and colloquial language such as calling her 'pig' and 'wiggy wiggy' which represents perfectly the title of the film.
The font suits the title of the film, it looks like someones hand writting, and the overall look seems like a diary.

The credits in this teen drama opening sequence, it shows off first the credits of the actors and main cast, and then it follows the credits of the crew behind the film production.
