TEST SHOTS

These are some test shots that I had tried before moving into filming, the purpose of this is to gain knowledge of the edits, shots, and camera movements that I will be using for my music video. For equipment I used my phone and my Nikon camera to try out the test shots, therefore I edited the clips with the mobile APP cap cut.

Prior to shooting my music video, I visited various locations and attempted to capture footage and images to assess their suitability. However, I ultimately decided against filming on the streets at night due to the inadequate lighting and lack of electrical outlets for my lighting equipment, which did not meet my expectations.

Furthermore, I decided to reshoot a particular scene due to my dissatisfaction with the background and lighting, as they failed to captivate me. Although I was pleased with the makeup and hair, the overall scene did not meet my expectations. To address this, I sought feedback from myself on how to improve the scene during the reshoot to ensure my satisfaction with the final result.

When my friend stayed over at my house, we took advantage of the opportunity to practice using the red lighting before our two upcoming shoots. This technique proved to be incredibly helpful and added a significant level of femininity and engagement to our performance.

By rehearsing with the red lighting beforehand, we were able to familiarize ourselves with the visual effects and determine how best to use it for the music video. The warm and intimate atmosphere created by the red lighting helped to convey a sense of femininity, adding a layer of emotional depth to our presentation.

Additionally, the use of red lighting added a heightened sense of engagement. The visual impact of the lighting might draw the audience in, creating a sense of intimacy and connection between the subject within the mv and my target audience.

NEW
FIRST ATTEMPT

As I was reviewing my digipak design, I realized that the background did not meet my expectations. It failed to convey the luxurious and elegant aesthetic that I was aiming for, and instead, it appeared cheap and poorly executed. After some consideration, I decided to do another photoshoot for my digipak.

I am pleased to say that I am absolutely captivated by the final result of the new photoshoot. The photos have a professional and polished look that reflects the high-quality standards that I strive for in my art. The background is now more visually appealing and conveys the luxurious and elegant aesthetic that I wanted.

One of the main advantages of the new design is that the red lighting is now more visible and clean than in the previous version. This adds an element of drama and intensity to the design, which I believe will capture the attention of my audience and entice them to explore my music further.
