START UP RESEARCH ON STAR CREATION THEORY

In a media lesson, I learned how the image of 'stars' are mostly constructed by companies using them as a financial asset in order to generate profit. A star is someone that has significant talent and a remarkable presence both present and absent, linking to Dyer's theory of stars being a paradox. After doing this research I realized that it would be useful for the creation of my artist because its presence needs to be remarkable, things that my artist should portray are a: constructed image, ideology, commodity, paradox and a unique selling point.




















Following this research, I am confident that I will be able to successfully create my own music artists by incorporating all of the factors mentioned above in order to provide the audience with a memorable and enjoyable persona.
Artists do not only create music; they also collaborate with other artists, brands, campaigns, and so on. As a result, the company benefits from increased revenue in order to continue providing high-quality content to the public.
